I played a pivotal role in shaping the triumph of well-known games like the Quake series by contributing significantly to all areas of creative development, in-game art and marketing. This included spearheading graphic advancements, implementing brand and market strategies, and orchestrating successful worldwide launch plans for these games as they rose in popularity and elevated game culture to unknown levels of audience engagement and brand affinity.
Quake followed closely after Id Software released the groundbreaking, never-before-experienced games Doom and Final Doom, which garnered a massive cult following. They were just getting started! It was a remarkable time to be part of the very indie, renegade, and explosive world of gaming, setting the standard for everything that would follow in the genre. Our work with Quake also initiated relationships with the launch of the Unreal engine, as well as console releases for these titles on Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox.
